Autoping Configuration

Autoping is not currently implemented. A later release will add this functionality.

The following objects are used to configure the autoping feature of the sitemonitor hardware.

AutoPingIP (1.3.6.1.4.1.32050.2.1.8.0, ipaddress, read-write):This object holds the IP address which the SiteMonitor hardware will ping periodically to determine whether it needs to cycle an attached I/O point.

AutoPingPeriod (1.3.6.1.4.1.32050.2.1.8.0, integer, read-write):This object holds the period value for the AutoPing feature. That is, how often the configured IP address will be pinged. This value is in seconds. So writing the number 3 to this value will result in the IP address being pinged every 3 seconds.

AutoPingPermittedFailures (1.3.6.1.4.1.32050.2.1.9.0, integer, read-write):This object holds the permitted failure count value for the AutoPing feature. This is how many pings have to fail in a row before the AutoPing feature cycles an attached I/O point. To disable the autoping feature, write 0 to this value.

AutoPingSlot (1.3.6.1.4.1.32050.2.1.10.0, integer, read-write):This object holds the slot number of the Binary IO device which will be cycled when the AutoPing feature is activated.

AutoPingPosition(1.3.6.1.4.1.32050.2.1.11.0, integer, read-write):This object holds the position of the Binary IO device which will be cycled when the AutoPing feature is activated.

AutoPingPolarity (1.3.6.1.4.1.32050.2.1.12.0, integer, read-write):This object holds the polarity value for the AutoPing feature. Polarity refers to whether the Binary IO device should be turned on or off for the specified duration. If the Binary IO needs to be turned off for the duration then turned back on, write 0 to this object. If it needs to be turned on for the duration and then turned back off, write 1 to this object. If it needs to be toggled, regardless of the existing value (that is, if it is currently on, turn it off for the duration, and vice versa), write 2 to this object.

AutoPingCycleDuration (1.3.6.1.4.1.32050.2.1.13.0, integer, read-write):This object holds the duration value for the AutoPing feature. This is how long (in tenths of seconds) that the binary IO should be turned on or off for.

AutoPingSleep (1.3.6.1.4.1.32050.2.1.14.0, integer, read-write):This object holds the number of seconds that the AutoPing feature should sleep after a trigger before resuming operation. For instance, if you'd like the AutoPing feature to be disabled for 3 minutes after it toggles the Binary IO device, write 180 to this object.

AutoPingMissed (1.3.6.1.4.1.32050.2.1.15.0, integer, read-only):This object holds the current number of pings in a row which have been missed. When this number reaches the AutoPingPermittedFailures value, the AutoPing feature will be activiated.
